Saturday morning brought bizarre weather to some parts of the Southland, while other parts remained untouched by anything more serious than an overcast sky.
In our hometown of Corona, lightning caused “numerous” fires, said 911 dispatchers, who sent the firefighters out to aid homeowners and business owners in need.
Other areas were hit by thunder, rain, high winds and hail. Dana Point reported quarter-sized hailstones, as did Woodland Hills, after thunderstorms passed through those two cities by late morning.
